Get ready for lots of up-and-coming events! 'Mutt Strut' Sept. 6 to Raise Money for the Wake County Animal Shelter (click here for more info) We will be sponsoring the 6th Annual "Mutt Strut" on Saturday September 6th from 9am-12pm at historic Oakview Park in Raleigh. Come join us! On Wednesday September 24th from 12pm-2:30pm we are holding an outdoor celebration at the hospital to announce the winners of our 1st ever Biggest Loser Contest!  There will be food, fun, and special guest Richard Schultz, the 2007 runner up on NBC's Biggest Loser TV show!  Richard lost 163 pounds while on the show, setting the record for the most weight lost on the program.  We will honor all of our participants and their owners, and will award both the winning cat and dog with 1 year of free food! The contest has been a great success, and it's going to be a fight to the finish line! (more details and exact time to follow) Make sure to mark your calendar for Saturday October 4th because we have invited PetClix, a mobile pet photographer, to Bowman Animal Hospital.  Those of you that participated last year got some great shots of your best friends, and we are excited to have them back!
