While it is well-known that breeds with continuously growing hair like Poodles require regular grooming appointments, it is less common to bring in short-haired breeds or any cat for that matter! Nannette Robinson Groomer
Nanette started her grooming career 30 years ago, at a pet shop in a little New Jersey town called Pompton Plains. She has a certificate in dog grooming from Nash Academy as well as a certificate in biotechnology from Berdan Institute in New Jersey. She loves animals and enjoys managing and helping to grow a successful grooming department. As a part of the Bowman Animal Hospital team, she’s excited to have the opportunity to be a part of a professional organization and to have the potential for growth. Throughout her grooming career, Nanette has also worked for a private investigator and as an administrative assistant in various office settings.
Nanette is originally from New Jersey, but was drawn to Raleigh by friends and their families. At home, she has two pets, a Yorkshire Terrier named TT, and a bunny with several names: Boo Boo aka Gherkin Be Bun Boo McStuffinstein Bunny, aka Eightball, aka Dookie. In her spare time, Nanette enjoys biking and making jewelry.
